My fiancee and I  have started the purchase process for a Mazda MPV. Here are the specs and features on it:

We ordered it via Carmax, and it should be here in a couple weeks. We’re quite happy to have this ordeal over with, and I hope I never talk to another traditional car salesman again.

I have an alias with a female name with my Yahoo account. The reason I do, is because early on in Freecycle, we had some wierd problem with men wanting to do free things for women, and if the men didn’t complete or do the task, they would want to pay the women. There was definitely some strange vibe going on. The men and women who were into this, created a new group, but still posted in Freecycle. To get a better idea of what was happening, I created a female alias, joined the group, determined that it was silly, and forgot about it. However, the alias still exists, and occasionally, I get instant messages from lame guys who think they’re messaging a woman. Mind you, I’m not signed on with the female alias, but the way Yahoo does aliases, the female alias appears to be online when I’m signed on with my regular alias. Anyway, I’ve decided to post the IM’s I get on my blog here. Here is the latest one:

I’ve been looking for a minivan to purchase, and its’ been taking up a lot of my time.  My fiance Kelly and I have been doing tons of looking online and tons of research into minivans.  We’ve narrowed it down to Mazda MPV’s, Toyota Sienna’s, and Honda Odyssey’s.  We’ve yet to find a dealer that doesn’t seem shady in some respect.  Carmax tends to be more expensive than dealers, but with less worry that you’re getting screwed.

At some point, I’m gonna have to consider paying more, because how valuable is our time?
