Looks like the Dems in the FL house were ok with moving the primary up.

"Republican Gov. Charlie Crist, who has consistently voiced his support for giving the nation's fourth-largest state more say, is expected to sign the bill. The House voted 118-0 on Thursday to pass the measure."

I don’t think one could even blame the Republicans really, it’s not like they have the power to strip delegates.

Yeah, but the Republican-controlled state legislature voted to move the primaries up, with a full understanding of the national Democratic rules and regs. If I remember correctly, states that were considering moving their primaries up were even warned of the consequences before the fact. The Dems and Repubs are equally to blame for disenfranchising voters, and the whole mess is just one more example of why we should have federal rules governing party primaries. Flying S. Monster, the state gov't already has its sausage fingers in our apple pie anyway.
